Travels in South India
This is a collection of solar etchings inspired by my travels in South India. On this trip I was interested and inspired by street scenes and everyday life due to its richness, diversity and contrasts. In these prints I have used a number of inks on a single plate as well as hand colouring the finished etchings. However, I think the images possess a certain quality which I think captures the essence of life in an Indian town or city.
