Mills and Industrial Architecture in Bradford -Etchings

This gallery features recent solar etchings based on the textile mills and other industrial buildings from Bradford's rich industrial past which is associated with the woollen industry. Also, in this gallery are etchings of various warehouses, plus the Old Foundry due to Bradford having a thriving coal and iron industry and an etching of the Jewish Synagogue which was designed by a local firm of architects in the Moorish Revival style of architecture. The Jews arrived in Bradford from Germany in the 1840s and established warehouses and factories in the area which is now known as Little Germany. The synagogue was built in 1881 and is now known as The Bradford Tree of Life Synagogue.
