Collagraphs of Cambodia
In 2010 I visited Cambodia and had the opportunity to see the wonderful temples at Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Banteay Srei plus many other amazing Khmer temples. On my return I was inspired to produce some new work, but wanted to try a different intaglio method. Having read about collagraphs I was keen to try my hand at this method of printing. It is an exciting way of printing as it is much freer than traditional etching methods and enables the printmaker to use a wide range of methods for creating textures.
